Men. Guys. Dudes. Listen up. Essential oils aren’t just for ladies. They work on us, too. I’ve written before on the reasons why men should accept essential oils, but this one is a quick-hitter because, well, us guys like to get to the point.
So fellow manly-men, here are 5 simple ways to try Young Living Essential Oils without having to turn in your man card.
Put some frankincense essential oil on your temples, the back of your neck and top of your head creating a halo-effect to help you feel more grounded and relax after a day’s work. When you get home from a tough day, frankincense allows you to be the man your family deserves. You know, even the real “most interesting man in the world,” aka Jesus, used frankincense essential oil. And you think you don’t need it?
Use Young Living’s Thieves® essential oil to boost your immune system during the cold & flu season. Apply 1-2 drops on the bottom of each foot. Your feet have never smelled better. Trust the rest of us on that one. You could also drink 1-2 drops of Thieves in a small glass of water. Or for the toughest men, you could just drop 1-2 drops directly in your mouth. Hang on, though. It’s intense!
#3: Stress Away
Does your job have you feeling a little “stressed out?” Ask your wife for some Stress Away® essential oil. Put a couple of drops in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together and cup them over you nose and mouth. Breathe it in. Mmmmmm. Now rub your hands on the back of your neck. Bye bye stress.
Need an afternoon pick me up? Place 1-2 drops of Young Living’s peppermint essential oil in 24 ounces of drinking water (always use a metal or glass water bottle). Peppermint is a great pick-me-up! It’s also ideal before, during and after a workout. Use this little trick to best the competition in the workout room, Mr. Competitor.
